Daily Responsibilities

Design digital circuits Create Verilog/VHDL code for an ASIC.
Perform RTL synthesis Use Synopsys Design Compiler to synthesize code to gates.
Floorplan and route Place logic blocks and route interconnects using EDA tools.
Verify designs Run UVM testbenches to ensure functional correctness.
Analyze timing closure Fix setup/hold violations to meet frequency targets.
Work with fabrication teams Provide GDSII files for tape-out.
Optimize power consumption Apply clock gating and power-aware design techniques.
Collaborate with software teams Ensure chip firmware compatibility.
